Parallel #139
The Parallel Trail #139 begins at Forest Service Road #540.2A, Silesca Ponds Road, and ends at Forest Service Road #533, Monitor Road. The first 0.7 miles of the trail parallels Hwy 90 as it heads south and intersects the powerline. It more or less follows the powerline for the next 4.5 miles passing through some spruce/fir and aspen. After 3.7 miles, the trail crosses FSR #402, Divide Road and continues northwest. It parallels Divide Road the remainder of its length, coming to an end at FSR #533.

Directions:From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 20.8 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #540.2A, Silesca Ponds Road. Turn north on FSR #540.2A and continue for 0.09 miles, the trail begins on the west side of the road.
