Cobbett to Ward Lake #746
The Cobbett to Ward Trail #746 was built to serve as a connecting route between Ward Lake and Cobbett Lake and their Campgrounds. It is a very short trail which was constructed for all types and ages of hikers. Both the Cobbett Lake and Ward Lake are routinely stocked with trout by the Colorado Parks & Wildlife.

Directions:WESTERN ACCESS:
Travel north on Highway 65 for approximately 16 miles from Cedaredge or approximately 23 miles south from Mesa. The Cobbett Lake Trailhead is located at he southwest corner of the campground. Follow the Cobbett Lake Trail #747 south for approximately 100 yards until reaching this Cobbett to Ward Trailhead.
EASTERN ACCESS:
Travel north on Highway 65 for approximately 16 miles from Cedaredge or approximately 23 miles south from Mesa, to the junction with Trickle Park Road, FSR #121. Travel east on Trickle Park Road for approximately 0.3 mile to the Ward Lake Campground entrance. The Cobbett to Ward Trailhead is located directly across from the campground.
