Green Mountain #719
The Green Mountain Trail #719 is a popular route for hikers, horseback and ATV use. It begins not far from the Visitor's Center on Hay Park Road, FSR #129 and continues across the Grand Mesa until it comes to an end near Bailey Reservoir. It travels through oakbrush, aspen stands and spruce/fir forests.

General Information
Directions:WESTERN ACCESS::
From Trickle Park Road, FSR #121, travel approximately 1.5 miles south on the Hay Park Road, FSR #129 to the Western Green Mountain Trailhead. At this location, Ryan Reservoir is located on the west side of the road and the trailhead is located on the opposite (east) side of the Hay Park Road.
EASTERN ACCESS:
Travel north 3.5 miles from Cedaredge on Highway 65 to its intersection with County Road U50. Turn right (east) onto County Road U50 and travel 6.5 miles east and north to its intersection with the southeastern Grand Mesa National Forest Boundary. The Green Mountain Trail intersects the Surface Creek Road, FSR #125.1 approximately 0.5 miles north of the Forest Boundary. The Green Mountain Trail intersection with the Surface Creek Road is marked with a 4X4 engraved trail post.
