Greenwood #721
The Greenwood Trail #721 passes through meadows and aspen, spruce and fir stands with Great views of the West Elk Mountains visible to the east. Three quarters of the way up the trail it enters a basalt boulder field and becomes very rough as it ascends at a steep/moderate grade. There are several marshy areas along the trail when crossing through the meadows. The Greenwood Trail meets Granby Road, FSR #115 on a steep grade in dense spruce/fir below an open ridge top and ends on the hillside above Little Battlement Lake.
