This is one of the best kept secrets in southwest Virginia. Located along a rushing mountain stream under the shade of hemlock and rhododendron, this campground offers a peaceful setting for quiet evenings around the campfire. While only 2 miles off State Highway 16, the setting feels much more remote. Hikers can walk from their campsite to the Appalachian Trail and many other nearby trails. Not recommended for large RVs.
$16 per single site per night. $32 per double site per night. $3 per vehicle day use fee. $2 per shower (non-camper).
