This campground is in a quiet, rustic setting adjacent to the Carp Wild and Scenic River and is a great place to enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, or to just "get away from it all". Site Fee $16 - Federal Recreation Passes (Golden/America the Beautiful) are accepted. Some of these sites are reservable. Reservations are made on the National Recreation Reservation System (NRRS). From the intersection of US-2 and I-75 drive north on I-75 to exit 352 (County Road 123). Turn right (east) one block on County Road 123, then turn left (north) on Mackinac Trail (H-63). Drive north 5.2 miles to FR 3445, turn left (west) and drive 0.25 mile to the campground.
There are 44 sites, all wooded and shaded from the hot summer sun. Each site has a table and a fire ring. Water pumps and vault toilets are conveniently spaced throughout the campground. There are no accessible facilities available at this campground.
