Bass Lake Campsites
This enormous, 290 acre lake features one campsite on its western shore and an improved boat launch on its eastern shore, approximately 4 miles away. Known for its excellent fishing, Bass Lake contains northern pike, largemouth and small- mouth bass, and bluegills. This campsite is nestled among hardwoods, is approximately 35 x 50 feet in size, and is suitable for only one family trailer. Swimming is considered to be poor. There is no back in boat access at the campsite.

General Information
Directions:From Manistique drive north on M-94 22 miles to County Road 437. Turn left (west) on CR 437 and drive 4.6 miles to Forest Road 2792. Turn left (east) on FR 2792 and drive about 0.75 mile to the campsite.
Activities
Campground Camping
There is one primitive campsite. It is located on the west side of the lake. It is a very nice semi-open area, 50 ft. by 35 ft., that would be suitable for one family and trailer.
Lake and Pond Fishing
Bass Lake, known for its excellent fishing, is an 290 acre lake features with an improved boat launch on its eastern shore, approximately 4 miles away.

There is an improved boat access located on the east side of the lake. It is intended for day use only. Boats with trailers are advised to use this access.

Swimming at this site is considered to be poor. Be cautious when swimming because these areas have not been checked for possible hazards. Please remember that you swim at your own risk. Lifeguards are not present. Children should be accompanied in the water by an adult at all times.
