Van Winkle Lake Trail

This 2 mile loop trail, located at the Camp 7 Lake Recreation Area, leads hikers to a spectacular paper birch stand overlooking quiet Van Winkle Lake. Bring your binoculars to scan the lake for waterfowl and wetland wildlife!

General Information

Directions:

From the intersection of US-2 and FH-13 (about 14 miles east of Rapid River), drive north 8.4 miles on FH 13 to CR 442. Turn right (east) and drive 7.8 miles to the campground road on the left (north). The trailhead is located at the boat launch.
