General Information

Directions: Take I-64 to IN 237/IN 66 west (Exit 86). Go south on IN 66 west four miles to Jeffries Cemetery. Look for a small Hoosier National Forest sign on the right side of the road. Turn left into the parking area next to Jeffries Cemetery. Park there or go across the road at Oriole Pond. Coordinates are: Lat- 38o 11' 6.971"N Long- 86o 29' 22.662"W

Mountain Biking

This 7.2 mile trail is designated for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. The trail winds through scenic hardwood forests and connects to the adjacent 6.5 mile Oriole East Trail. The trail requires a moderate skill level and has some technical sections. Attention is required on descents and climbs. For a more exciting ride go counter-clockwise. The trail has a very scenic bottom section and also contains some wide, gravel-covered stretches.
