Elevation 6,900 feet. 25 sites in timbered setting, including 6 double sites which can accomodate up to 16 people each. Trailhead access to Mt. Charleston Wilderness. This campground is temporarily closed due to the Carpenter 1 fire. It will be opened again when the fire situation allows safe use.
No public access at this time. Kyle Canyon has been converted to day use due to potential flash flooding. Renovation of Kyle Canyon Picnic Area include new roads, parking, tables and grills, signs and bathrooms.
