This is a 5 site "walk-in" campground located near the junction of the road to South Lake and the road to Sabrina campground. It is a walk-in campground, meaning your vehicle will be parked a short sitance away (25 to 100 yards) and you carry your gear in from that location. Without vehicles it is a bit more private and quiet than other sites.

Restrictions: Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 7 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended; bear boxes are provided and must be used  (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36").  Always keep a clean camp and do not feed animals, squirrels and rodents.

Passes: America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes are accepted for half priced camping. Follow the instructions on the bulletin board at the campground.

General Information


From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (Line Street) approximately 16 miles. The Intake Two walk-in and drive in campgrounds will be on your left.


Parking is approximately 20-30 yards from the campsites.
