This 28 unit campground provides an excellent "close-to-the-trailhead" location to camp as a jumping off point for adventures in the McGee Canyon area or as a pleasant sunny location for family camping. Each campsite has a shade pavillion as there are few trees here. The campgound is 2 miles from the trailhead and 4 miles from Crowley Lake.
Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 14 days. This is Bear Country. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended. Always keep a clean camp and do not feed animals, squirrels and rodents.

America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes are accepted for half priced camping. Follow the instructions on the bulletin board at the campground.
From Mammoth Lakesgo south on US 395 for approximately 8 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left. Or, from Bishop go north on US 395 for about 37 miles. Take the McGee Creek exit and follow the paved road about 2 miles to the campground on the left.

Parking is usually not a problem. Check with the camp host or check the bulletin board for information about parking extra vehicles.
