On the banks of the Klamath River, Curly Jack Campground is within walking distance to Happy Camp. There are 16 sites on a paved loop under the trees along  the Klamath River.

The volunteer campground host position for Curly Jack campground is still available for the 2013 season. Apply online at volunteer.gov and use "Klamath" or "Curly Jack" as your search keyword.

Each campsite has a fire ring.   Fires are permitted in fire rings only.  There is garbage pick-up in summer only.  Please pack out all your trash at other times.

From I-5, drive west on Hwy 96 approx. 65 miles to Happy Camp. Turn left on Curly Jack Road 1 mile to campground on the right.

Campground Camping

Camping on the Klamath River in Happy Camp.  This campsite is shady and picturesque.  Many sites with a view of the river.

RV Camping

Curly Jack Campground welcomes RV's for scenic, shady camping on the Klamath River in Happy Camp.  Limited amenities are available.
