Mt. Ashland is remote mountain camping with great views and access to the PCT. Located along the Siskiyou Crest, the area is known for wildflowers, butterflies and bird watching.

Directions:

From I-5 west on Forest Road 20 approx. 10.5 miles to the campground on the left. One mile past the Mt Ashland Ski Resort.


Parking:

Two vehicles allowed per campsite including trailers. Additional vehicles should park in the Day Use parking area.

Campground Camping

High elevation and great views of the Klamath River Canyon, Mt Shasta and beyond.  Many sites are shady.

RV Camping

RV camping at Mt Ashland is limited to small motorhomes and short trailers. The road to the campground is narrow and winding.
