Lovers Camp Trailhead

The Lover's Camp Trailhead is the starting point for popular hikes to Marble Valley, Sky High Lakes, Red Rock Valley, Little Elk Lake and Deep Lake. The Canyon Creek Trail connects with the PCT. Be sure to park in area designated and not in campsites. Trails into higher elevations may have snow well into June.

Day Hiking
The Lover's Camp Trailhead is the starting point for popular hikes to Marble Valley, Sky High Lakes, Red Rock Valley, Little Elk Lake and Deep Lake. The Canyon Creek Trail takes day hikers to Marble Valley. This hike is 9 miles round trip or just enjoy the first mile or two up Canyon Creek. Be sure to park in area designated and not in campsites. Day hikers should always yield to horses and livestock on the trail. Horse Riding
In addition to the campground with corrals, the trailhead has day use parking for hikers and horse trailers. This trailhead serves day riders and overnight horse trips into the Marble Mountains Wilderness. A long loop is popular from here. Head up the Canyon Creek Trail about 4 miles, then turn east through Sky High Valley and return home north through Red Rock Valley along the Red Rock Creek Trail for a total of about 15 miles.
