Silver Bowl Campground


Area Status: Closed

Located near the shores of Silver Lake, Silver Bowl is a developed campground with 18 designated sites.  There is a maximum of 8 people per site.  Silver Lake offers a boat launch ramp, and a nature trail encircling the lake and two picnic areas provide a variety of recreational pursuits. Caribou Wilderness trailheads are located nearby.

Busiest Season: Summer
Restrictions: Include: campfires in fire rings only, all animals must be on a managed six (6) foot leash, quiet hours from 10pm to 6 am, no fireworks, must occupy site first night, and every night thereafter. 
Closest Towns: Westwood, CA and Susanville, CA. From Highway 36, take A-21 north 21 miles to the Silver Lake turnoff.
