Monjeau Campground

Area Status: Open
This area is Open

The Monjeau Campground has a rugged feel to it as there is no water nor picnic tables.  Only 4 sites are available to tent camping as RV's simply cannot traverse the road to the campground.  Tables, grills, and vault toilets are available with no trash collection so please pack out what you pack in. Aspen/oak/pine forest setting provides access to old CCC camp lookout for mountain views and trails to White Mountain Wilderness Historic Civilian Conservation Corp fire lookout tower, panoramic views, and hiking on the Crest and Mills Trails.
