Quartz Flat Campground
The Montana Department of Transportation will be constructing improvements at the Quartz Flat Rest Areas on Interstate 90 between Superior and Alberton. The rest area will be closed beginning in mid-March 2021 and is anticipated to reopen in spring 2022. The rest area serves travelers year round, and is the gateway to the Quartz Flat Campground during the summer. The Quartz Flat Campground will remain open during this work. For more information on the project please visit Montana Department of Transportation.
Conveniently located just off Interstate 90, this forested campground with a nature trail is a nice break from traveling on the highway. It's a great place to stretch your legs, warm by a campfire, or enjoy the aromas of the pine forest. Roads and spurs are paved.
