River Point Campground

Area Status: Closed

On the west side of Seeley Lake, this campground and picnic area has a stretch of beach that is a great place for playing in the water or people watching while you relax in the shade of the trees. The campground and picnic area are located where the Clearwater River and Seeley Lake meet.

Current Conditions:	Reservations Required through Recreation.gov Sites change to first come, first served free of charge the Tuesday after Labor Day until October 1st when the campground closes for the Season.

General Information

Directions: From the town of Seeley Lake, travel 3 miles northwest on Boy Scout Road.
General Notes: A picnic table and fire ring is available at each campsite. Fishing, swimming, and canoeing opportunities on Seeley Lake and the Clearwater River. Recycling bins. On-site volunteer campground host. Daily law enforcement patrols. 3 miles to groceries, gas, and sport rentals.

Campground Camping

The campground is forested and is set a short distance away from the picnic area and beach - which offers privacy, yet access to the shore.

Picnicking

This picnic area is between the lake and the campground and has room to spread out as well as a gorgeous view of the water, trees, and mountains. What more could a person want?! It's perfect for a picnic. The picnic area has tables, fire rings, water, and is very close to the restrooms and parking area.

Boating - Non-Motorized

Non-motorized boating is a great way to view wildlife and appreciate the landscape in the area. Motorized boating is permitted on Seeley Lake, so most non-motorized boats find areas away from high traffic watercraft use. Early mornings are also a good time for non-motorized craft.
