Area Status: Open
Flat area, next to river, some sites are shady, oak trees, paved roads. Tables, group barbecues, firepits, water faucets, flush toilets, R/V - no hookups. Closest dump station is at Cachuma Lake. Firewood can be purchased from camp host at $5.00 a bundle. Access to the Santa Ynez River. The Aliso interpretive trail begins at this campground. There is river access to the Santa Ynez River along the last 6 miles of Paradise Road. Watch out for poison oak. One site has 12 corrals and hitching post for equestrian use, each site holds 25-50 people.

Directions: (From Santa Barbara) Off Hwy 101, 10 miles N.W. on Hwy 154, 5 miles East on Paradise Road, turn left at Los Prietos Ranger Station, follow the road across the river.
