The campground sits at the edge of beautiful Logan Valley along Big Creek and is a great starting point for multiple recreation opportunities, including mountain biking, hiking, stream fishing, hunting and bird watching.

General Information

Directions:

In the town of Prairie City turn onto Bridge Street.  Follow Bridge Street up and over a small hill, this road will become County Road 62.  Go 19 miles south of Prairie City on County Road 62 to the Junction of County Road 62 and Forest Road 16.   Turn West onto Forest Road 16 for approximately 6 miles, the campground is on the right.


General Notes:

During the winter months, due to deep snow levels, Big Creek Campground becomes only accessible by snowmobile.  This area is part of a network of snowmobile trails, and a great place to stop for a break from a trail ride.
