General Information

Directions:

From the intersection of US Hwy 89 and 400 North in Fairview, Utah, head east on 400 North until it becomes State Route (SR) 31/Canyon Road.  Continue on SR 31/Canyon Rd for approximately 14 miles, beyond the boundary for the Manti-La Sal National Forest.   The staging area is about a half-mile past the turn-off for Skyline Drive/FR 0150, on the south side of the road.

Skiing/Snowboarding

This area is used by snowkiters on boards and skis. It is the site of numerous snowkiting competitions each year. It is best known for its deep drifts, consistent wind, big bowls, and easy access.

XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

This area is used by snowkiters on boards and skis. It is the site of numerous snowkiting competitions each year. It is best known for its deep drifts, consistent wind, big bowls, and easy access.

Snowmobiling

Staging area for snowmobiles at the head of Huntington Canyon and Skyline Ridge snow sports area.
