Big Rock Group Campground is located inHuntington Canyon along the Huntington Canyon National Scenic Byway on Utah Highway 31 at an elevation of 7,600 feet. Pine and fir trees offer little shade in this open site. Huntington Creek runs alongside the site. It is a Blue Ribbon Fishery for brown, cutthroat, and rainbow trout. Popular activities include fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and scenic driving. The 6-mile Left Fork of the Huntington National Recreation Trail, for hiking and horses, begins a half-mile away.

Make reservations at least 4 days in advance.
No ATVs allowed in campground. (See Camping and Travel Rules in Quick Links at right)
No livestock (horses) allowed in campground.
Bring garbage bags. This is a "pack it in, pack it out site."
||This campground consists of one group site that can accommodate up to 50 people, with picnic tables, a BBQ grill, Dutch oven cooking surface, serving table, and fire ring with benches. A large gravel parking area provides ample room for RVs. ADA-accessible vault toilets are provided. There are no electricity, water or sewer hook-ups at this campground.
You must bring your own drinking water.
Opening and closing dates are dependent on snowmelt and the onset of winter weather.
Vault toilet is ADA accessible.
Travel to Huntington on Highway 10, turn west onto Highway 31 near the north city limits.Campground is located 20 miles west of Huntington, Utah along Utah Highway 31 between Forks of Huntington Campground a 1/2-mile south, and Stuart Guard Station a 1/2-mile north.
