Blue Lake Trail 604
This easy, short hike to a picturesque subalpine lake is great for families. Begin in an old clear-cut and quickly enter the forest. At 0.2 mile arrive at a junction with Dock Butte Trail 604.1. Stay left, wandering through trees and meadows 0.5 miles before dropping to Blue Lake at 4,000-feet elevation.
Blue Lake supports a population of trout.

General Information
Directions:From the Mt. Baker Ranger District office in Sedro-Woolley, WA follow State Route 20 east for 16 miles to milepost 82. Turn left (north) on the Baker Lake Highway (Forest Service Road 11). Continue on the Baker Lake Highway for 12 miles to FS road 12 and turn left. Follow FS road 12 for 7 miles to FS road 1230. Turn left on FS road 1230. Trailhead and parking area are located in 4 miles at the end of the road.
