Park Butte Lookout

Park Butte Lookout

From this lookout Mt. Baker climbing parties appear as small dark figures dotting the ice and snow with the Twin View Sisters range, Glacier Peak and Mt. Rainier on the horizon. The lookout was built in 1932 and Skagit Alpine Club volunteers maintain it. This lookout is available on a first-come-first–serve basis. A toilet is available nearby.

The Park Butte lookout is located just inside the wilderness boundary.
