Christoff Trail 1171
This steep trail winds through young trees to an old, abandoned fire lookout site on Huckleberry Mountain. As you climb, enjoy nice views of the White River valley and Mt. Rainier. You will hike through a recent clear-cut on private land where the trail crosses a logging landing and resumes just on the other side. At mile 1.8 the trail crosses and then parallels FS road 8012. At mile 2.3 pass an underground spring outlet and a little more than three miles you will come to the junction with Divide Trail 1172 to the east and Grass Mt. Trail 1170 to the west.
