White River Trail 1199


This is a nice year-round 5.9-mile hike for the whole family with minimal elevation gain. The trail parallels Highway 410, and you can hike it in pieces, as part of a loop, or one way if you have a vehicle at your destination.

At mile point 0.4 the trail crosses Deep Creek. At mile 1.8 at the junction with Deep Creek Trail 1196 cross Ranger Creek and climb to mile 1.9 and find the junction with Ranger Creek Trail 1197.

At mile 3.3 find the junction with Buck Creek Trail 1169 and Snoquera Falls Trail 1167. At mile 3.6 is the junction with Moss Lake Nature Trail. Cross Snoquera Falls Trail 1167 at mile 3.7. Next is the junction with Palisades Trail 1198 at mile point 5.5. At mile point 5.8 is a junction with the powerline road and the trail meets Highway 410 at mile 5.9.

Directions:

Via Corral Pass Trailhead: Drive east on State Highway 410 from Enumclaw 31.6 miles to Corral Pass Road #7174. Turn left (east) onto Road #7174 and follow it 1.0 mile to trailhead. The trailhead is on left side of road at the switchback corner.

Via Buck Creek Trailhead: Drive east on Highway 410 from Enumclaw 28.3 miles to wide area, east of Camp Sheppard entrance. Follow Buck Creek Trail #1169 for 0.5 miles to White River Trail.
