High Pass Trail #676
This trail is within Mt. Baker Wilderness. From Twin Lakes Trailhead start on the Winchester Mountain Trail #685 and take a right at the trail junction with High Pass Trail #676 at 0.5 mile.
The left fork continues to the Winchester Lookout. You will traverse an avalanche chute beneath Winchester Mountain, climb to Low Pass and then to High Pass. Find remains of the old Gargett Mine near High Pass. An unmarked scramble leads beyond High Pass to the top of 7,000 foot Mount Larrabee. Steep, exposed snow fields can linger into August.
