Dalles Ridge Trail 1173

This is a great ridge hike with most of the elevation gain on the road up to the trailhead. Start in a clearing at 5,300 feet and follow the ridge. At mile 0.6 come to the junction with Ranger Creek Trail 1197. On a clear day the trail offers you commanding views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, the Stuart Range and even the Olympic Mountains in the distance. Meadows and forested areas along the way make it a real treat for wildflower lovers. After the junction the trail climbs steadily up. At mile 1.8 you will find the junction with Noble Knob Trail 1184.

This trail is primarily used to access to Noble Knob and Ranger Creek Trails.
