Green Springs Campground

Green Springs Campground - Grindstone District

Green Springs has two corrals and one trough with a hose that can be placed in the spring if it is running. The area is mostly pine trees.  There are six sites at this disperse style campground. There is a trailhead at the campground that connects you to the Summit trail system in the Yolla Bolly Wilderness.

Current Conditions: Corrals have been repaired. Green Springs trail system can be difficult for inexperienced hikers, as there are no trail markers. Water trough, fed perennially by a spring, is available for horses. Downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes and unstable terrain may be present. Trails may not be cleared. Avoid parking and camping under dead standing trees.
