River and Stream Fishing
Fishing is allowed along Otter Creek. A valid West Virginia State Fishing License is required, along with a National Forest stamp, a Conservation stamp, and a trout stamp. Please contact the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources for more information on fishing and hunting licensing requirements.
Middle Point Trail #140, 3.7 miles in length is located along Forest Road 91 (Stuart Drive) west of the Campground. There are several trails in the Otter Creek Wilderness that offer more challenging experiences because the trail junctions are not signed and there are no bridges over stream crossings. Topography maps are recommended for wilderness adventures.
