Blue Lake Boating Site
Blue Lake, located in the southern Warner Mountains, is a favorite for local anglers and is stocked by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. A boat dock is available in summer only. There is a campground, trails and paved parking for boat trailers.

General Information
Directions:From Alturas go south on US Hwy 395 to Likely, CA. Turn east on County Road 64 (aka Jess Valley Rd) and go 3.2 miles to Blue Lake Road. Turn right on Blue Lake Road and follow the signs approximately 7.5 more miles to the boat ramp.

Activities
Lake and Pond Fishing
Fishing at Blue Lake is available from shore or by boat. The lake is stocked by the California Dept of Fish and Wildlife. All anglers over the age of 16 must have a current CA Fishing License in possession. A wheelchair accessible fishing platform is available.

Small motorized boats may be launched from the paved Blue Lake boat ramp located at the opposite end of the lake from the campground. A boat dock is available in summer. There is no marina or boat mooring.

Blue Lake is a great place for canoes, kayaks, row boats and small car top boats. There is a paved launch ramp for trailers and ample parking. In summer there is a dock at the launch ramp.
