There are two areas for camping at Jane's. One, as soon as you enter the area and another further to the south of the lake. Both areas are equiped with a vault toilet. There is no drinking water supplied.
There is plenty of room for RV's and camp trailers and the access road from Alturas is very well maintained.
Reservations are not accepted. All sites are first come, first served.

Lake and Pond Fishing
A great spot to spend a few hours on, in or around the water.
There is no fish cleaning station. Please clean fish away from the lake, water faucets and restrooms. Garbage service is not provided. Please take all trash and fish guts with you when you leave.
Fishing is from the bank, in boats or by wading.
Even though it may be a long drive, a picnic at Jane's Reservoir would be nice on a hot afternoon. Day use to 10:00PM
The Modoc Backcountry Discovery Trail, a 200 mile segment of the statewide system, runs past Jane's Reservoir. This vehicle trail has 22 Discovery Points, covers an altitude change of 4,300 to 7,600 feet and covers an area from the California/Oregon border at it's eastern end all the way to the Lava Beds National Monument to the west.
