The Red Tail Rim Trail South Campground is the staging area for riding, hiking or mountain biking the Red Tail Rim Trail.  There are hitching posts but no corrals.  This trail is not a loop.  The opposite trailhead is located at Red Tail Rim Trail North, about 8 miles north of Adin along Hwy 299/139.

Ash Creek Campground is located south of this trailhead.

Directions:

From Adin go east on County Road 88 approximately 8 miles to County Road 22 and follow the signs to the campground.  Ash Creek Campground is also in this area.
