Timber Lake Trail #733
This is a kid-friendly hike to a quiet alpine lake in the Olallie Lake Scenic Area. The trail begins at Red Lake Trail #719 (5,120’) and ends at Timber Lake (5,160’). From Skyline Road (Forest Road 4220) near Olallie Lake, follow Red Lake Trail #719 0.6 mile west to the beginning of this trail (#733). Turn right (south) and follow the trail 0.6 mile to Timber Lake.

Directions:From Portland, OR - travel east on US Hwy 26 to Sandy. Turn right (southwest) on OR Hwy 211 and travel 6.1 miles to OR Hwy 224. Turn left (southeast) on OR Hwy 224 and travel 30.6 miles to Forest Road 46. Turn right on Forest Road 46 and travel 14.8 miles to Forest Road 42. Turn left Forest Road 42 and travel 4.3 miles to Forest Road 4220. Turn right (south) on Forest Road 4220 and travel 12.25 miles to the trailhead parking area on the west side of the road.
