Frog Lake Butte Trailhead


 4x4 access road and no amenities are provided at this trailhead.  The trail gradually drops in elevation and starts in sparce stand of timber and then enters larger old growth forest.  Provides access to:  Frog Lake Trail #530 which accesses Frog Lake Butte Trail #484 and Twin Lakes Trail #495.

General Information

Directions:

From Portland, OR take Highway 26, south past the Highway 35 junction to the Frog Lake Sno Park. Take the Forest Road 2610, turn left on the 220 spur, follow road to top making sure you stay left until you reach the dead end at the top parking area. This is a 4x4 only road, when dry.


General Notes:

This road is a 4x4 road, 2 wheel drive is not recomended, the road is steep at the top. Do not attempt to go untill all the snow is melted and the road has a chance to dry out in early summer.
