Olallie Lake Day Use Area/Picnic Site

Olallie Lake Day Use Area, with its views of Olallie Lake and Mt. Jefferson in the background, is located adjacent to the Olallie Lake Resort. It is popular for picnicking, fishing, and non-motorized boating. 

Contact the Olallie Lake Resort for reservation info for cabins and yurts. Campgrounds are not reservable and are first come, first served. Note: the resort only accepts cash or check.

Directions:

Alternate access from Forest Road 46 has been restored.  From east or west, travel US Hwy 26 and take Forest Road 42 south (Timothy Lake/Skyline Rd. turnoff). Travel on Forest Road 42 for about 22 miles and turn left onto Forest Road 4220. Travel about 12 miles to Olallie Lake.

Closed in winter.
