Monolallie Lake Trail #732


This trail lies within the Olallie Lake Scenic Area and is a short easy hike providing access from Olallie Lake to Monon Lake. This trail starts at Olallie Lake Trail #731 (4,950’) and ends at Monon Lake Trail #732 (4,950’). The trail passes Nep-Te-Pa Lake and Mangriff Lake.

Directions:

From Portland, OR - travel east on US Hwy 26 to Sandy. Turn right (southwest) on OR Hwy 211 and travel 6.1 miles to OR Hwy 224. Turn left (southeast) on OR Hwy 224 and travel 30.6 miles to Forest Road 46. Turn right on Forest Road 46 and travel 14.8 miles to Forest Road 42. Turn left Forest Road 42 and travel 4.3 miles to Forest Road 4220. Turn right (south) on Skyline Road (Forest Road 4220) and travel 13.2 miles to Penninsula Campground Road. Turn left on Peninsula Campground Road and follow it 0.8 mile to the parking area in the campground. Follow Olallie Lake Trail #731 south-southeast 1.5 miles to the beginning of this trail. Trail #731 begins at Paul Dennis Campground (4,960’) on the north shore and ends at Camp Ten Campground (4,960’) on the south shore.
