Post Camp Trail #467


This little used more difficult trail is in the Badger Creek Wilderness. This trail connects Mud Spring Trail #466A with Badger Creek Trail #479. Starting from Forest Road 4811.015, head north 0.3 mile on Mud Spring Trail #466A to the south end of this trail (#467). Turn right on this trail (#467) and after 1 mile the trail reaches Pine Creek Trail #465. Continue north on #467, cross the bridge over Pine Creek and travel 1.7 miles to the trails end at Badger Creek Trail #479

General Information

Directions:

From the Dalles, OR travel south on OR Hwy 197 for 30 miles to Tygh Valley.  From the Tygh Valley take Wamic Market Road to Wamic.  At the south end of Wamic, turn right on White River Road (Forest Road 48).  Follow White River Road to Forest Road 4810.  Turn north on Forest Road 4810 and follow it 2 miles to Forest Road 4811.  Turn right on Forest Road 4811 and travel 5 miles to Forest Road 015.  Park in the turnout near the intersection of Forest Roads 4811 and 4811-015.  Head north on Mud Spring Trail #466A following Forest Road 4811-0150.3 mile to the beginning of this trail. 

From Portland, OR travel 30 miles east of Sandy on US Hwy 26 and exit onto OR Hwy 35.  Head north on OR Hwy 35 4.7 miles, approximately 100 feet east of milepost 62, to White River Road (Forest Road 48).  Turn right (south) on White River Road and travel 19 miles to Forest Road 4810.  Turn north on Forest Road 4810 and travel 2 miles to Forest Road 4811.  Turn right on Forest Road 4811 and travel 5 miles to Forest Road 015.  Park in the turnout near the intersection of Forest Roads 4811 and 4811-015.  Head north on Mud Spring Trail #466A 0.3 mile to the beginning of this trail.
