Teacup Nordic
Enjoy breathtaking vistas of the mountain while traveling through towering Douglas firs on 24 kilometers (15 miles) of expertly groomed nordic trails. Perfect for skating or classic skiing, Teacup Nordic features wide trails prepared in the morning by best-in-class PistenBully 100 grooming machines. Visit the Teacup Nordic nonprofit website for their grooming schedule, weather and trail condition updates and to purchase a trail pass.
One of only two U.S. Ski and Snowboard sanctioned clubs in Oregon, the Teacup/Mt. Hood Nordic programs span all ages. Teacup Nordic operates under a special use permit issued by the Mt. Hood National Forest. Visit their website to learn more about their “learn to ski” weekend programs for ages 6 to 12, their junior racing programs, and their adult club and ski-school programs.
The Teacup Lake Sno-Park has space for over 200 vehicles. At this sno-park it's highly recommended that those with long trucks, vans, and trailers park on the ends of the parking lot to allow maximum parking configuration, especially on busy (weekend) days. Parking perpendicular to Hwy 35 will ensure more vehicles may park and enjoy the Teacup Nordic trail system. Please respect posted signs for designated parking spots at the west end of the sno-park.
Teacup works hard to keep these trails groomed and safe - please help keep these trails in good skiing condition! Snowshoeing, skijoring, and dogs are not allowed on this trail system.
