Parachute Ridge Trail #535
Parachute Ridge Trail is a short, steep access to Eagle Ridge Trail #537. From the trailhead on Running Creek Road #357, the Parachute Ridge trail begins its 2-mile climb, a steep ascent broken only when the trail traverses the head of a small draw or comes out on top of a ridge at 1.5 miles. A good view of Lynx Creek drainage to the southwest awaits those who aren't out of breath by then. The trail passes through large ponderosa pines and, as the trail moves toward its junction with Eagle Ridge Trail #357, the trail continues up a ridge thickly forested with small lodgepole pine.
