Badin Lake Group Camp
Badin Group Camp was developed for use by clubs, families and other groups up to 50 people. The camp includes three separate areas each with tables, grills and tent pads. Two vault toilet facilities, water spigots and a bathhouse with showers and 2 flush toilets are centrally located to serve all three sites. The sites are $40 per night.
Opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, hunting, picnicking, hiking, 4-wheel driving, and mountain biking can be enjoyed while staying at the campground.
Cove Boat Ramp is located 2 miles south of the campground on FR 597B and is a boat ramp to access Badin Lake for trailered boats. Badin Lake Hiking Trail is 5.6 miles and follows the lake around Badin Lake Campground and around Arrowhead Campground and goes back to Badin Lake Group Camp.

Directions: From Hwy. 109 north of Uwharrie, follow signs to Badin Lake recreation facilities. Badin Group Camp is on the right side of FR 597A, just beyond the turn-off to the Badin Lake Campground.Activities

Lake and Pond Fishing
King's Mountain Point on Badin Lake is within 1 mile of Badin Lake Group Camp. King's Mountain Point has 4 accessible fishing piers and miles of shoreline for anglers to enjoy while fishing.
Day Hiking
Access to the Badin Lake Trail can be found bushwhacking through the woods east of Badin Lake Group Camp and then people can follow the trail in either direction to go along the lakeshore and through the forest on this 5.6 mile trail. Additionally there are approximately 40 miles of non-motorized trail open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding that can be accessed from this campground.

The Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex can be accessed by driving to one of the 6 trailheads. ATV's, dirtbikes, and full-sized four-wheel drive vehicles that are not licensed and registered to be on roads have to be transported to the trailheads on a trailer.
Trail passes are required for vehicles that are driven on the OHV trails.

King's Mountain Point is within 1 mile of Badin Lake Group Camp and offers a nice area for swimming in Badin Lake. No lifeguards are provided and adults are responsible for watching their children.
