Kings Mountain Point day-use area is a perfect place for group outings. Situated on Kings Mountain Point - peninsula jutting into Badin Lake - the area boasts four accessible fishing piers, paved parking for 50 cars, and an accessible paved trail that circles 34 picnic sites. Each picnic site has a grill and table. There is a picnic pavilion on the top of the hill. There are flush toilets near the picnic pavilion and there are 3 other sets of vault toilets at this day use area. The picnic pavilion can be reserved for parties and picnics.

There is no fee to use Kings Mountain Point Day Use Area. There is a $50 fee for the picnic pavilion.
