Betty Creek Gap TR 367


Located in the Standing Indian Basin.  On Forest Service Road 67, go 7 miles past Backcountry Information Board.  The main function of this trail is to provide access to the Appalachian Trail at mile marker 97.2.  There is also a good native Trout stream.

Natural spring serves as water source located to the east.

Current Conditions: Bear activity in the area.  Please use bear resistant canisters for backcountry camping.  If you carry bear pepper spray, ensure it is rated for bear use by the US EPA and follow manufacturer recommendations.

Restrictions: Be aware that due to seasonal road closures this trail is unavailable by vehicle from December 31-April 1
