Arrowhead Campground has 48 sites for Tent/RV camping. Sites #46-#49 are tent only. All sites, except for site #23, are accessible to people with disabilities. Each site has a table, grill, fire ring, lantern post and parking spur. The campground has 6 spigots/hydrants located around the campground for drinking water. A bathhouse with flush toilets, hot showers, and sinks is available. There is a family restroom located at the front of the bathhouse if privacy is desired. A 0.75-mile paved bicycle/walking path loops around the campground. The fee-station is located at the entrance to the campground. Trash cans and a dumpster are provided to properly dispose of your trash. There is a dump station located across from the pay station. Payment can be made by cash or check: make checks out to the USDA Forest Service. Payment must be made within 30 minutes of choosing your campsite.

Fees: | Single sites are $20 per night and double sites (#3, 27 & 29) are $40 per night. Sites with electrical hookups have an additional $7 or $14 surcharge per site. General Information
Directions:From Troy, Hwy 109 N, go to Mullinix Rd. just past Eldorado Outpost. Turn left onto Mullinix Rd., and continue past Badin Horse Camp. Turn right on FR 544 (McLeans Creek Road) to for 1.8 miles come to a stop sign and turn left on FR 597 (Badin Lake Road) for 0.6 mile. Turn right on FR 597B (Cove Road) to the entrance of the campground on the right.

Lake and Pond Fishing
Anglers may fish the shoreline of Badin Lake from numerous points along the Badin Lake Hiking Trail. In addition, a floating pier is located on the north side of Kings Mountain Point - a great casting spot.
Badin Lake is filled with an array of fish, from catfish to largemouth to striped bass.

Badin Lake Hiking Trail follows Badin Lake's shore for half of its distance and loops back through hardwood forests to the boat ramp.
Paved connectors form Arrowhead Campground access the trail. Hikers may take the 2.5-mile loop or tackle the entire 5.6-mile trail.

A 5,350-arce impoundment of the Yadkin River, Badin Lake offers a boaters' paradise, from waterskiing to cruising to sailing. Camping from boats is a popular pastime on Badin Lake.
