Haystack South Shore Group Campground
Haystack South Shore Group Campground is the only group campground on Haystack Reservoir. This facility contains two group campsites, each of which holds up to 75 people, making it ideal for large events such as family reunions, or groups of rock climbers visiting the nearby Smith Rock State Park.

General Information
Directions:From Madras, Oregon:
Travel south on Highway 97.
Take Jericho Lane and head east for approximately 1.25 miles.
Turn right onto Springer Road (Forest Service Road 7130/Forest Service Road 96) and proceed approximately 1.5 miles.
South Shore Campground will be on the left.
From Prineville, Oregon:
Travel north on Highway 26.
Take Laurel Lane (Forest Service Road 96) and head west for approximately four miles.
Turn right onto Springer Road (Forest Service Road 7130/Forest Service Road 96) and continue for approximately 2.5 miles.
South Shore Campground will be on the right.

Group Camping
This facility has 2 group campsites that hold up to 75 people each, making it ideal for large groups. Depending on the size of the group, one or both of the sites may be reserved up to 6 months in advance, but not less than 1 day in advance.
