Icicle Creek Trail #1551

This valley-bottom trail goes through old-growth timber within Alpine Lakes Wilderness. There is limited horse feed.  A landslide that occurred in 2011 has damaged the trail beyond recognition approximately 2 miles south of Lake Josephine in the area with the junction of  Chain Lakes Trail #1569.  This section of trail is passable on foot but not recommended for stock.
