Jack Ridge Trail #1557

  

This trail within Alpine Lakes Wilderness leads from  Jack Creek Trail #1558 to Trout Lake and has numerous switchbacks to ridgetop views. 

There is no horse feed available at Trout Lake.

  • Wilderness Trail: Non-motorized, no bicycles. 
  • Campfires prohibited above 5000' and at Trout Lake. 
  • Maximum group size is twelve (total number of people and stock).
  • Use certified weed-free or commercially processed stock feed only.

Passes: A valid Recreation Pass required at Jack Trout trailhead.

General Information

Directions:

The trail begins at the Jack Trout Trailhead located 18 miles up the Icicle Creek Road.  The trail ends at Trout Lake.  From Leavenworth, WA head southwest on US-2 W for 0.8 miles. Then turn left onto Icicle Road (Forest Road 7600) and continue straight for about 16 miles. Stay left on Forest Road 7600 after passing Icicle Gorge trailhead. Then take a left on Forest Road 615.
