West Fork Buttermilk Trail #411

Area Status: Unreachable

This 9.5 mile trail within Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness climbs to 7,480 feet at Fish Creek Pass where it connects with Fish Creek Trail #1248. Opportunities to climb nearby Star and Courtney Peaks. Star Lake is just beyond the pass. 

Specific Hazards/Difficulties: The trail crosses a marshy area that may be difficult for stock. Several stream fords along the route can also run high into July. Limited camping.
