Moore Point Campground
SPECIAL NOTICE: Crews from the Forest Service and the Washington Conservation Corps will pull and hand-spray Crupina, a noxious weed, in this area through the month of May. The crews will be camping at Moore Point campground. The campground will be open to the public during these dates. However, available camping sites will be limited and the campground will be more crowded.
This boat-in campground offers a picnic shelter and a fixed dock with a three boat capacity. There are four tent sites with a lot of room for additional dispersed camping, four picnic tables, four fire rings and two vault toilets available.

Fees: | A Federal Dock Site Boat Permit is required from May 1 – October 31 for use of all National Forest and Park Service docks on Lake Chelan. Permits must be pre-purchased before docking. Purchase a $10 Day Permit or $75 Season Pass from one of vendors around the Lake Chelan Valley. Click here for a list of vendors and more information about dock permits. Campers using the ferry or hiking in and not using the dock do not need to pay the fee. |

Directions:Commercial Ferries
The Lady of the Lake and Stehekin Ferry provide commercial passenger ferry service between Chelan, Fields Point Landing, and Stehekin with stops available at Fields Point, Prince Creek, Moore Point, Lucerne and other locations along Lake Chelan. These commercial ferry services provide a variety of transportation options for the public. Personal Boat
Boat Launches
Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a popular boat launch for accessing many up lake recreation sites via personal boat. Please check their website for amenities, fees, and schedule: parks.wa.gov/293/Twenty-Five-Mile-Creek
There are also boat launches from Manson, Chelan and Lake Chelan State Park. Click here to visit chelanpud.org for more information on the boat launches around Lake Chelan. None of these launches are managed by the Chelan Ranger District.
Boating Distances
From Chelan, boat approximately 42 miles up lake. Campground is on the north shore.
OR
From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat approximately 24 miles. Campground is on the north shore.
